My first day at the farm was made all the more amazing by Romeo.
I have never been around farm animals but have known and loved horses. I know enough to let the animals come to me, especially horses. After about an hour Romeo, a precious horse, started following me around as I did chores. I was honored that he deemed me worthy of his attention. I talked to him as he followed me and as I pet him he sniffed and nuzzled me. He even gave me a few kisses on my forehead.
All the animals at the sanctuary are full of personality and beauty, but none is more beautiful to me than Romeo.
